Awesome, that sounds easy enough then. Thank you!
There will be a toolbar button in the WYSIWYG editor to add an image, which will let editors paste in the Snap.as image URL. We may need to make this easier, like by just showing the image URL in Snap.as instead of the full Markdown. Will investigate that.

No problem, we can teach editors to adapt in the meantime! Combined with T520, will there at least be a way to copy image embeds from Snap.as into the WYSIWYG editor without having to copy markdown and switch to markdown mode (assuming that will still be an option)?
@heyakyra In the short term, unfortunately uploads still happen in a separate place (Snap.as). But we'll work toward adding uploads into this editor!
This is improved and superseded by T810: Blog post management section.
Will this make it possible to upload and caption photos from the same place as posts are written?

This isn't high-priority enough to be on our planned roadmap right now.

progress so far

As mentioned in this forum post, we should start with a browser extension.
In the interim, this will be an extension
On mobile the split should be horizontal, with the preview up top. It should also scroll with the editor content.
Idea 2:

Yeah, just the script in that comment should be enough. I think the yesterday, today and tomorrow thing was in case we had those maps of dates to local translations -- so you can disregard.
So this seems to work well with only the script provided. Where were the uses of yesterday, today and tomorrow?

This is another small one that'll be a nice usability improvement.
That's in the javascript near the bottom of the page -- I believe it loads a default value named anonymous or draft via some h.js helper functions.
@matt I have the template part done and working, just wondering if you remember off hand where we look up the last-selected publish choice.

sure, sounds good
Hmm yeah, good idea. I'd say we send them to some user page and show a message, but with the chorus config, things get complicated. Maybe just redirect to / for now, and we'll see how that works. I don't imagine it happening too often.
Here is the page so far. I thought of adding fancy click to copy javascript but decided to hold off until another time. It's not really important.

Pagination is still important. But in the interest of post organization, just as we're doing on Android, I think a better solution would be to keep only anonymous posts on the Posts page, and then show a visually small list of blogs at the top of the page.

Still fairly low-impact at the moment. No recent reports of this being a problem.

Still really needs attention, but is second to our other current tasks.
