Mentioned in this comment, we'll need to be able to upload a full archive of the posts, metadata, images, and files from another WriteFreely instance (T822: Include photos with Write.as export).
This isn't critical anymore.

I've just updated the command-line utility for this (rWFM), so it is functional again. But we are still missing functionality beyond basic text import. Other dependencies:

Docs are updated and WF pull request is open: #436.
This is already supported on Write.as and the Go API library, added in the attached commits. Will add it to WriteFreely and our API docs next.

This is important for people with different workflows, so this is the next highest priority after T571: Import posts from WordPress and {T646}.
I've already started on this on Write.as Web, so I'll finish this up.

This is dependent on backend changes (T637: Support more attributes when creating a collection).
I threw together an offline importer for this: rWFM / https://github.com/writeas/wf-migrate -- for reference in building this into the web application.
