Description

It is way too heavy for our relatively simple uses. Alternatively, find a lighter library that handles links in the same way (with/out protocol and all modern TLDs)

This would still be great to have, but is very low priority unless it's quick to knock out.

Not sure of the initial motivation for this. But I don't think this is necessary anymore, since we do our rendering on the backend.
