Works well on Chrome 47.0.2503.0 on Ubuntu, besides one quirk:

Clicking near the right/bottom of an item in the overflow menu selects the item below it. This doesn't seem like something we can/need to fix.

No easy way to test on Chrome OS dev channel without wiping the device, so we'll verify everything again when it's in the stable channel.
